MOSAIC TILE DETAIL
Emulating the Estuary-
Estuaries form a transition zone
between river environments and
maritime environments - they are
inherently interwoven with differing
natural elements to form one unique
and beautiful ecosystem. The
dining/day room mirrors this concept
and provides a space for patients, staff,
and visitors alike to intermingle and
experience recharge and community.
Alongside providing nourishment, this
space's adaptability allows it to
become a place for art lessons, larger
gatherings, and community events.
DINING/ DAY ROOM
Forms integrated with Function
This early ideation focuses on the
connection between forms and
function. Bodies of water carve
through landforms just as the path
of travel carves in-between this
custom cafe bar and seating area.
