The 1st expln is also applied to abhij!n!ti, & the 2nd to passitv!, vidita' katv!, abhiññ!ya & disv!. The use
of the emphatic phrase j!n!ti passati is very frequent. Ya' tva' na j!n!si na passasi ta' tva' icchasi
