Ubbilla [either a secondary formation fr. ubbil!vita, or representing uppilava (uppil!va) for upplava, ud +<br />

plu, as discussed under ubbil!vita. <strong>The</strong> BSk. word udvilya Lal. V. 351, 357, or audvilya Divy 82 is an<br />

artificial reconstruction from the P!li, after the equation of Sk. dv!da$a > dial. P. b!rasa, whereas the<br />

original Sk. dv. is in regular P. represented by dd, as in dv"pa > d"pa, *udv!pa > udd!pa. Müller's<br />
