Upada'sitar [n. ag. fr. upada'seti] one who shows Pug 49 (where upadha'sita is to be corrected to upad˚, as<br />

already pointed out by Morris J P T S. 1887, 126. <strong>The</strong> word seems to be a crux to commentators,<br />

philologists, and translators, like upada'seti. Kern, Toev. s. v. keeps to the reading upah˚, tries to connect it<br />

with Sk. dhar+ati & trsls. "one who confirms". <strong>The</strong> Pug A leaves the word unexplained).<br />
