Asuropa
Asuropa [probably a haplological contraction of asura -- ropa. On various suggestions as to etym. &
meaning see Morris's discussion at J P T S. 1893, 8 sq. The word is found as !sulopa in the Asoka
inscriptions] anger, malice, hatred; abruptness, want of forbearance Pug 18 = Vbh 357; Dhs 418, 1060,
