Trenckner (Miln. p. 428) says sapadi+ayana. Kern (Toev. ii.73) agrees on the whole, but expls pad!na' as<br />

pad'!yana'] "with the same steps," i. e. without interruption, constant, successive (cp. Lat stante pede & Sk.<br />
