Moneyya
Moneyya (nt.) [fr. muni, cp. Vedic moneya] state of a muni, muni -- hood; good character, moral
perfection. This is always represented as 3 fold, viz. k!ya˚, vac"˚, mano˚ (see under muni), e. g. at D iii.220;
A i.273; Nd1 57; Nd2 514 A (where also used as adj.: moneyy! dhamm! properties of a perfect character).
Cp. also Sn 484, 698, 700 sq. On moneyya -- kol!hala (forebodings of the highest wisdom) see the latter.

of mura, a local (tribal) designation (cp. murala), then by pop. etym. connected with mora peacock. With
this cp. Sk. moraka "a kind of steel" BR.
