We are
movement!
for
When we design Savo office chairs, the human body is always in focus – both physically and
mentally. Everything we’ve learned about the importance of open hip angles and support for the body
when and where it is needed, we build into our chairs. Only Savo chairs have the unique seat mechanism
that allows for and stimulates movement, at the same time as giving the support ou need. It’s called the
SAVO Floating Tilt®.

Our
design
values
SAVO Floating Tilt® gives you freedoom of movement when sitting down. Aestethics also play an
important role in human well-being. Since Savo was founded in 1945 our ambition has been to
take the lead in ergonomics s well as aestethics.
We build identity through design. Details are important when the design is simple. Identity can
only be created when the product and the history behind it harmonize.
Diffrent materials have their own personality and new materials create possibilities for a
different design. By utilising soft materials for a comfortable feel, heavy duty materials for durability
and metal and solid wood for a luxurious tone, possibilities are endless.
We see innovative combinations of materials and contrasts as important factors in the way we
design all our Savo products.

was our starting point, with Savo Soul. Simplicity has been the watchword all the way
while ergonomics and quality has been a top priority and we could not lose Savo’s

Savo Soul by Olle Lundberg
Olle Lundberg started his career as a
designer in the late 80’s. He studied industrial
design at the University College
of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm,
at the University of Essen and at Lénsci -
Les Ateliers in Paris. Since 1990 he runs
his own design firm, Lundbergdesign.
The design team work widely and in a
multif-aceted fashion with design projects
for both national and international
clients. Lundbergdesign has received
several international design awards
such as the RedDot and IF awards.
