Hanbury Manor Golf & Country Club is Hertfordshire’s most exclusive address. It is
situated in 200 acres of stunning Hertfordshire countryside in Thundridge, near Ware. The
estate boasts a five star 161 bedroom country house hotel, a championship golf course and
an award winning health club and spa. The pool, tennis courts, sauna, steam rooms and

The prestigious golf course was the first to be designed by Jack Nicklaus II, and still

The Women’s European Open was held at Hanbury Manor in 1996, and the Men’s
European Tour visited for the English Open from 1997 to 1999, with British home grown

Course was presented with the ‘Following the Fairways Golf Venue of the Year’ award.
Hanbury Manor remains a favourite venue for many European Tour professionals, some of
