The new Economic Stimulus Plan rewards you for installing 

energy efficient American Craftsman ® windows and patio doors 

in your home. Follow these simple steps to receive a tax credit 

of 30% of the purchase price, up to $1,500, on your qualified 

purchase^ : 

1. Order your eligible American Craftsman 

windows and doors with both a 

U-Factor and SHGC of 0.30 or lower. 

See American Craftsman’s Manufacturer’s Certification 

Statement for eligible products that have NFRC certified 

U-Factor and SHGC values less than or equal to 0.30. 

2. Purchase and install qualifying products between

Replacement Window Sizes 

Replacing your windows is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3. Simply remove the old window sash, slide your new 

replacement window into the opening and secure it. American Craftsman ® replacement windows 

are custom-made to fit inside the opening created when the old sash are removed. In most 

circumstances, existing trim, paint and siding are not disturbed. Installation is done from inside the 

home and normally takes less than an hour per window.
