The Glasshouse team works with our local schools and education providers to cooperatively deliver a wide range of creative learning opportunities to our youth. AN INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM ON STAGE WITH ATYP!
Performance Experience for Students
Professional Development for Teachers
If you have an outstanding group of young performer’s eager to hone
their dramatic performance skills by participating in Follow Me Home,
ATYP will work with you to include your students in the production.
One of the best ways to learn is by working with leading professionals
and ATYP’s Artistic Director will work with an Educator on a virtual
masterclass exploring each of the scenes from Follow Me Home and
considerations in casting and rehearsing each piece. Students can
then rehearse the scenes.
When the cast of the show arrive in your community, they then
rehearse the scenes with your young performers so they can feel
what it is like working with professional actors. ATYP will then select
a number of student performers to participate in the production to
be performed to the broader Port Macquarie Hastings Community
at the Glasshouse on Thursday 19 August, 1pm. Students selected
will participate in a rehearsal workshop in preparation for their stage
debut.
