WORKSHOPS
Sydney Dance Company’s National Schools
Program supports School-based Dance Teachers
through curriculum-relevant programs for students.
Through participation in a Creative Contemporary
Dance Workshop, students will develop their dance
technique, creative thinking and performance skills,
in a fun and engaging environment. Taught by Sydney
Dance Company Teaching Artists, students will be
guided through a technique warm up and learn a
genre-specific routine.
Creative Contemporary Workshops offer a unique
opportunity to experience how the Company creates
and performs new and original movement. Students
will be guided through a contemporary technique
warm up, and challenged with a composition task
from one of Sydney Dance Company’s productions.
