As an MMC <strong>Art</strong> or <strong>Art</strong> <strong>History</strong> major,<br />
you will meet leading curators, artists,<br />
photographers, <strong>and</strong> designers; visit<br />
galleries, museums, auction<br />
houses <strong>and</strong> public art; <strong>and</strong><br />
gain professional experience<br />
through internships in the<br />
thriving creative industries<br />
<strong>and</strong> cultural institutions<br />
of New York City.<br />
BA IN ART<br />
<strong>Art</strong> courses are grounded in a process of creative<br />
production that integrates practice, theory,<br />
<strong>and</strong> history. You’ll take Foundation courses in<br />
drawing, color & design, <strong>and</strong> art history, <strong>and</strong> then<br />
narrow your focus with concentrations in Studio<br />
<strong>Art</strong>, Photography, Graphic Design, Illustration<br />
<strong>and</strong> Animation or a combination of disciplines.<br />
