<strong>OSHA</strong> Training Institute Education Center<br />

(OTIEC) at California State University,<br />

Dominguez Hills is the only Los Angeles-based<br />

training institute authorized by the<br />

U.S. Department of Labor to deliver <strong>OSHA</strong><br />

approved courses in occupational safety<br />

and health to safety professionals, workers,<br />

supervisors and employers. Our courses<br />

are ofered on weekdays and on weekends<br />

to ft your schedule. During the current<br />

pandemic, courses are ofered online for<br />

your convenience and safety.<br />

The <strong>CSUDH</strong> OTIEC ofers training in Federal<br />

and California safety standards for the felds of<br />

Construction, General Industry, Refnery, Maritime,<br />

and Disaster Sites, including more than 100 courses<br />

in such topics as industrial hygiene, hazardous<br />

materials, machine-guarding, crane safety, respiratory<br />

protection, ergonomics, confned space, excavation<br />

and trenching, scafolding, electrical standards, fall<br />

protection, noise hazards, accident investigation,<br />

CHST, NFPA 70E, EM 385-1-1, emergency<br />

management, fre safety, risk management, refnery<br />

hazard control, safety audits and inspections, injury<br />

and illness protection programs, rigging, workplace<br />

violence, HAZWOPER, frst responder, aerial lift,<br />

forklift safety, evacuation and emergency planning,<br />

lockout/tagout, bloodborne pathogens, pandemic<br />

preparedness, and recordkeeping.<br />

On Site Training<br />

The <strong>OSHA</strong> Training Institute Education<br />

Center at <strong>CSUDH</strong> works closely with the<br />

business community to develop training<br />

programs to help companies stay in<br />

compliance with regulatory enforcement<br />

agencies. <strong>CSUDH</strong> ofers more than 100<br />

courses in occupational safety and health,<br />

both in English and Spanish, tailored to<br />

meet industry specifc requirements.<br />

Our team of professionals is trained to provide the best service possible at an afordable<br />

price, and can expedite your request for on-site training. Discounted rates are available<br />

to groups of 15 students or more, and volume discounts are also available for companies<br />

Discounts are available for active and retired service members. Financial resources are<br />

become an Authorized Trainer for your<br />
