La idea es que el espectador participeactivamente en la deducción de la lectura de la hora y, en ese proceso, se sumerja enel diálogo de los materiales, en el ritmo de las agujas y en el juego de las proporciones.En su elaboración he utilizado materiales nobles -porcelana, madera y metal- de formaque puedan soportar el paso de los años. Estos relojes, aunque le hacen un guiño ala noción de producto masivo, han sido producidos a mano y están llenos de imperfeccionesestratégicas con el fin de enfatizar que se trata de objetos únicos y en rigor,irrepetibles. Nuevamente, han sido pensados para la contemplación y el ritmo y nocomo herramientas para la prisa».
“This is a collection of 40 wall and table clocks in which my training as a graphic andindustrial designer and my passion for ceramics converge.I used the circularity of the clock as a plane to develop a series of visual motifs thatinduce the contemplation of time. The idea is for the spectator to actively participatein the deduction of the telling of the hour and in that process, to immerse the viewerin the dialogue of materials, the rhythm of the hands, and the game of proportions. Inthe elaboration process of these clocks, I used noble materials — porcelain, wood andmetal — so that they can withstand the passage of years.These clocks, although they make a nod to the notion of mass manufacturing, havebeen produced by hand and are full of strategic imperfections in order to emphasizethat they are unique and, strictly speaking, unrepeatable. Again, they are intended forcontemplation and rhythm and not as a tool for the hurried life.”

“This is a collection of 40 wall and table clocks in which my training as a graphic and
industrial designer and my passion for ceramics converge.
I used the circularity of the clock as a plane to develop a series of visual motifs that
induce the contemplation of time. The idea is for the spectator to actively participate
in the deduction of the telling of the hour and in that process, to immerse the viewer
in the dialogue of materials, the rhythm of the hands, and the game of proportions. In
the elaboration process of these clocks, I used noble materials — porcelain, wood and
metal — so that they can withstand the passage of years.
These clocks, although they make a nod to the notion of mass manufacturing, have
been produced by hand and are full of strategic imperfections in order to emphasize
that they are unique and, strictly speaking, unrepeatable. Again, they are intended for
contemplation and rhythm and not as a tool for the hurried life.”
