“The Mimic Swim Paddles were designed from the reverse engineering of the scientific

principles that artistic expression discovers when we do not achieve the objectives. By

reimagining missteps as solutions, swimmers and coaches can use kinesthetic learning

to reinforce good swimming techniques and thus challenge performance requirements.

The swimming paddles take their name and inspiration from a smart and agile design

inspired by biomimicry. The mechanical properties of the dark beetle and the lotus flower

in particular. Years of swimming failures and successes forged an intuitive collaboration

to help you find your sense of water.

The surface of the swimming paddles is enhanced with special rubber nodes and

grooves designed to collect water under the palm while the hand glides through the

water. This promotes the flow of water during the most dynamic moments of the hit.

At the bottom, a hexagonal channel system serves three different purposes; one, it

provides a significant improvement in the grip; two, the softer material allows greater

flexibility in the overall design of the paddle; and three, it helps the paddle to float on

the surface of the water.”
