has been playing a proactive role to provide humanitarian relief. The Secretary General of <strong>IIMSAM</strong> H.E.<br />
Remigio Maradona met Hon. Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni - Minister of Foreign Affairs Ghana. Who introduced<br />
<strong>IIMSAM</strong> & its worldwide “concrete deeds” in saving millions of lives through its Spirulina Nutritional<br />
Supplement to the needy populations the children, the physically disabled, the war victims and the<br />
malnourished. Also at the meeting was discuss <strong>IIMSAM</strong>`s Institutional Development of <strong>IIMSAM</strong> in Ghana in<br />
particular the imperative need to establish an strategically located <strong>IIMSAM</strong> Hub Replica of the <strong>IIMSAM</strong><br />
Sheikh Zayed Spirulina Distribution Centre in Kisumu-Kenya .<br />
SG Maradona commented: I want to thank H.E. The Honorable Minister of Foreign Affair Mr. Mumuni for<br />
having met me and inviting <strong>IIMSAM</strong> to establish a presence in Ghana with full logistical and political<br />
support from the government… for I am delighted to have an emerging and stabled country such as Ghana
join our family of Member States in the fight against the number one killer in the world malnutrition….In<br />
having Ghana will enable <strong>IIMSAM</strong> distribution to serve the local, regional and international humanitarian<br />
community with its unique advantages and strategic location of Ghana in West Africa it would give <strong>IIMSAM</strong><br />
the ability to provide a global emergency response solution to facilitate the delivery of coordinated instant<br />
global relief across western Africa so that innocent lives that are lot can be saved. It is imperative that the<br />
old, women, children and the disabled benefit from Spirulina.”<br />
