Learning that Transforms: Teaching that Inspires
Investing in sport with a dedicated PE team
Our team of specialists deliver sport across the
school. We organise competitive Inter house
events to include all children while entering our
elite sportsmen into local competitions to develop
team spirit and good sportsmanship in all. In Year
3 and 4 every child has the opportunity to learn to
swim.
Passionate about music
We also have a specialist music teacher who
teaches singing and djembe across the school
while all children in Year 4 learn a brass
instrument. Performance is key and our children
have performed at the Festival Hall and taken
part in the National Brass Band Championship.
Our choirs regularly sing in the Hounslow Summer
Festival and other local events. We partner with
Hounslow Music service to provide a wide range
of instrument tuition from guitar to saxophone.
Exploring the World
Learning doesn't just take place in the classroom.
To bring our curriculum to life we take children out
of school to see and experience the world first
hand. This includes cultural events, museum visits
and a range of outdoor trips. We also run two
residential visits to Suffolk and Devon where
children take a big leap of independence as they
try their hand at surfing, building dens and
working as a team.
By the time children leave us at the end of Year
6, we expect every child to be proud of all they
have achieved and be excited to know there is
still so much more to learn.
