Problem: The Buyer Required SBLC Payment Term

Our Client from Sudan is the leading supplier of Refined Sugar to the local
market.
They got a bulk offer to supply S30 Grade Refined Sugar from the local
buyers.
They found a Supplier from India who can supply 25, 000 Metric Tons at
the best discounted price.
The supplier demanded the buyer that the payment term should be “SBLC
MT760 from any Genuine Banks”

Challenge: The Buyer’s Bank Rejected their SBLC Request
The Sudanese Buyer contacted their bank with the SBLC request. Since the
credit history of the buyer is not up to the mark, the bank declined their
SBLC request.
Further, the bank asked the buyer to provide 100% cash margin to provide
the SBLC on behalf of the buyer company.
Since the buyer didn’t want to deposit their working capital in the bank,
they started searching for trade finance providers and finally found Bronze
Wing Trading L.L.C. on Google.

The buyer submitted their SBLC requirements to us via email. We did a
careful analysis of the sugar deal and approved their SBLC request.
After getting the signed service agreement and service charges from the
client, we structured their SBLC based on the Sugar deal with our bank and
sent the SBLC draft for their review.
The Client verified and approved the final draft and also paid the SBLC
issuance fee charges. Further, accordingly, we instructed our bank to issue
the SBLC to the supplier’s bank account via SWIFT MT760.
