THE ALLURE OF THE ANALOG DIVER
Ask most divers what equipment they would take on a
today, and it would be a digital dive computer,
But I can attest to the allure of diving with an analog
watch, which may be why I find the 42mm and 37mm
Revolution Captain Cooks so charming. Some time
dive trip, I found myself with a fault on my diving
in between dives. However, I happened to have in my
bag an analog dive watch, my old depth gauge and a
deco card. So I determined to find out if I could, with
assistance from my buddy, actually manage to
dive using these tools like a plongeur from the ’60s.
As it turned out, it wasn’t as much of a challenge
thought it would be, though I did find myself
