Dear friends,<br />
Welcome to the <strong>2020</strong> <strong>CMC</strong> <strong>Gala</strong> Event!<br />
While I’m disappointed we are not together this year, I am<br />
nonetheless heartened beyond words for your participation<br />
tonight and your continued support for Catholic Medical Center.<br />
If there is a silver lining to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s the<br />
appreciation and support the community has shown healthcare<br />
workers. <strong>CMC</strong>’s staff thanks you for every compassionate<br />
gesture. You stepped up when we needed it most, by donating<br />
money, food, and personal protective equipment; by sending<br />
messages of encouragement and putting up signs in front of the hospital; and by being here<br />
with us tonight.<br />
I’m pleased to report that support for the <strong>2020</strong> <strong>Gala</strong> Event is consistent with years past! That<br />
is an impressive thing to say in times like these. Funds from this year’s event will support<br />
services and programs, including our COVID-19 Response Fund.<br />
This evening’s program is a new approach for us. I hope you have as much fun watching it as<br />

telehealth more than ever, so speak<br />
