The present IBCC will be the sixth challenge, but I can safely
say that none of the competitions was this difficult to organize due
to virus situation in the world. Before this competition, we had
numerous negotiations and discussions, until finally we reached
this point, and it was possible to hold the sixth International Balaton
Carp Cup. The most important thing, however, is that we can
meet again after overcoming lots of questions and uncomfortable
situations. The best and most determined carp anglers in the world
can now compete again. Thank you in advance for taking part in the
biggest carp angling competition in the world this year too.
A mostani IBCC lesz a hatodik megmérettetés, de azt bártan
mondhatom, hogy talán egyikkel sem volt még ennyi munka, az
Világon kialakult vírushelyzet miatt. Rengeteg tárgyalás, egyeztetés
előzte meg a mostani versenyt, mire eljuthattunk idáig, es létrejöhetett
a hatodik International Balaton Carp Cup. De a lényeg, még ha
sokak számára sok-sok kérdés és esetleg kellemetlen szituáció
leküzdése után újra találkozhatnak, és versenybe szállhatnak talán
a Világ legjobb és legelszántabb pontyhorgászai. Köszönet nektek
előre is, hogy részt vesztek idén is a Világ legnagyobb pontyfogó
versenyén....
I’ve been fishing on Lake Balaton for more than 10 years and
I know that any peg can be the winning one. Due to the unique
character of the large lake, the competitions so far were extremely
exciting and gave extraordinary experiences to many anglers. Can
it get any better? Of course! This year we made pegs for more
than 240 teams, which requires a lot of background work. I know
that there are a lot of trophy-sized carp in Lake Balaton and, if the
weather is favorable, the real big ones will reveal themselves. I’m
also convinced that this is the kind of competition that only the best
team can win. I wish every angler unforgettable experiences during
this week here on the shore of “the Hungarian sea”.
The end of October might be particularly challenging for
everyone. I hope that the carp living in Lake Balaton won’t avoid
the teams in the autumn either.
Appreciate every catch and care for the fish. Treat them
with respect. Please protect the environment and the pegs so that
in the future the hosts of Lake Balaton can offer anglers similarly
wonderful places. Here, I’d like to give a big thank you to those
who supported this year’s competition.
And for the competitors, well, break the lake
(but nothing else)! :-)
Több mint 10 éve horgászom a Balatonon, és tudom azt,
hogy bármelyik helyben benne lehet a győztes pálya. Az eddigi
versenyeink, a hatalmas tó adottságai miatt nagyon izgalmasan
zajlottak, és sokak számára rendkívüli élményeket adott. Lehet ezt
még fokozni? Természetesen! Az idei évben több mint 240 csapat
számára jelöltünk ki helyet, mely mögött rengeteg háttérmunka
fekszik. Tudom, hogy a Balatonban rengeteg kapitális ponty él,
és ha az időjárás is mellénk áll, megmutatják magukat az igazán
nagy példányok is! De abban is biztos vagyok, hogy ez egy olyan
verseny, amit csak a legjobb csapat fog tudni megnyerni. Kívánom
minden versenyzőnek, hogy úgy éljétek meg ezt az egy hetet itt a
Magyar tenger partján, hogy az örökké emlékezetes legyen.
Az október végi időpont is feladhatja a leckét mindenkinek, én
bízom benne, hogy most, az őszi időpontban sem fogják kímélni a
nevezett csapatokat a Balatoni pontyok.
Becsüljetek meg minden fogást, és kellő odafigyeléssel,
tisztelettel bánjatok velük. Kérlek benneteket, figyeljetek oda a
környezetre és vigyázzatok a horgászhelyekre, hogy a később
érkezőket is a Balatoni vendéglátók ilyen csodás helyekkel tudják
fogadni. Szeretnék ezúton is köszönetet mondani mindazoknak,
akik támogatták az idei verseny létrejöttét.
A versenyzőknek pedig kívánom, hogy görbüljön,
de csak a pecabot :-)
