Approved Bodies<br />
The following firms have been approved by SELECT as Approved Bodies that may <strong>of</strong>fer certification <strong>of</strong> construction services for electrical installations to BS<br />
7671.<br />
Certificate <strong>of</strong> <strong>Construction</strong><br />
A Certificate <strong>of</strong> <strong>Construction</strong> is only valid if Part A is signed by an Approved Certifier and Part B is signed by the <strong>Certification</strong> Co-ordinator at the Approved Body.<br />
Both the Approved Certifier and the Approved Body must be registered on the date <strong>of</strong> signing and must be members <strong>of</strong> the scheme for <strong>Certification</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Construction</strong> (<strong>Electrical</strong> Installations to BS 7671).<br />
There is a separate list <strong>of</strong> Approved Certifiers which should be checked in conjunction with the list <strong>of</strong> Approved Bodies.<br />
