Expression at Meetings
During the Community Comment portion of the agenda, speakers will be
allowed three minutes to ask questions or make comments regarding
school related matters. Speakers will introduce themselves first by
giving their name and address. “Members of the public” include only
those people who are residents of the school district. Non-residents may
not speak during the Community Comment portion of the agenda unless
two thirds of the Board votes to allow that person to speak.

letter. There were none. Mr. Pickus advised that there has been no
response yet on the letter, which is very positive. Mr. Pickus advised
that all 4 elementary buildings performed the same way in subgroups.

ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT
Mr. Schloicka thanked Colleen Ulrich and Richard DeMallie for their time
and effort in conducting the Handle with Care training that was held at
the Transportation Department. A meet and greet luncheon was also
held at the Transportation Department for staff from both districts. Mr.
Scholicka advised the Board that on Monday he was able to pick up 60
computers that were donated to the Gloversville Enlarged School District
by ITT Technical Institute. Mr. Schloicka also thanked Ronald DeLorenzo
for being the force behind this. Mr. Schloicka also advised the Board
that in June of 2013 ITT Technical Institute will donate 30 more
computers as well as Apple equipment.
SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT
Mr. Moses reported the following to the Board:
--There will be two or three more new hires for the start of the 2012 –
2013 school year.
--GHS has a Social Studies opening.
--Mr. Vanyo will be here August 24 and August 30.
--Mr. Vanyo has planned both Superintendent’s Conference Days.
--Mr. Moses thanked the Board of Education and the District for the
opportunity to be the Interim Superintendent.
Mr. Semione thanked Mr. Moses on behalf of the Board for the service
he gave to the Gloversville Enlarged School District while he served as
interim Superintendent.
