FRIENDS of TMEA
A special thank you to all of our “Friends of TMEA” for your continued support of high-quality music education
opportunities for students in Tennessee. TMEA wants to ensure that students have an opportunity to learn and
participate in the joy and power that music education brings in uplifting the human spirit and fostering the wellbeing
of society. Music education provides students with learning in creativity, literacy, and life skills.
Funds from Friends of TMEA are used to support music educators across the state, teachers that serve in
economically disadvantaged schools, offer travel funds for teachers to use to take their students to musical
opportunities, college scholarships, and so much more.
