When Slocum gave up his Nash dealership he was the oldest Nash dealer in point of service in the US. Jefferson M. Seacord, head of the firm, 8-27-1928 died in 1919. He was the father of Mrs. Slocum. Harry Slocum to continue gas and oil business.
