Broad and Balanced...<br />
Year 6<br />
Year 6 have had a fantastic start to the year! They have settled into the new<br />
routines of school extremely well and are acting as very responsible role models<br />
to the other children. The first couple of weeks have been very busy, beginning<br />
learning about World War One. They have all been so enthusiastic to<br />
share information about their relatives who were involved in the war and have<br />
created fantastic timelines and maps to identify the key events during WW1<br />
and the alliances different countries made. As well as this, they had an exciting<br />
time dissecting a real heart in Science and learning about how all of the different<br />
parts work. Some amazing applications and speeches have been made by<br />
those wishing to be Team Captains or Head Pupils, which made the decisions<br />
very difficult. Well done on such a positive start Year 6!
