Description of CoursesDEPARTMENT OF BIBLEBI 101 Old Testament Survey IA survey of the books of the Old Testament giving special consideration to the major themes,characters, and events of the Pentateuch.Fall semester, two hours.BI 102 Old Testament Survey IIA survey of the books of the Old Testament giving special consideration to the major themes,characters, and events of the historical books.Spring semester, two hours.BI 103 Creation ScienceThis course provides a Biblical view of origins from the standpoint of both Scripture andscience. The failure of evolution as science is dealt with in depth, including geology andradiometric dating. Creative design in the biological disciplines of anatomy, botany, andzoology is also studied.Fall semester, three hours.BI 104 Biological Issues for the ChristianThis course provides scientific background and Biblical perspective of issues of concern tothe Christian. Topics include abortion, diseases, and other issues from the field of medicine.Environmental issues will also be discussed.Spring semester, three hours.BI 201 New Testament Survey IA survey of the books of the New Testament. Special emphasis is given to the author,background, and purpose of each book as well as the doctrinal theme.
