weight than the kernels, spill over the edge. The rema<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g<br />

shells were h<strong>and</strong> separated. The smaller pieces<br />

build<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Wailuku, Maui, about 1955.<br />

<strong>and</strong> macadamia fields to keep them praclically weed free. The geese especially<br />

liked nut grass tubers, <strong>and</strong> they had 10 "till" the l<strong>and</strong> to reach the lubers<br />

grow<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the ground.<br />
