The kids headed to <strong>Jamestown</strong> Settlement<br />
(which was in a different location from Historic<br />
<strong>Jamestown</strong>e) where the replicas of the three ships<br />
that sailed from England in 1607 were docked. They<br />
headed for the ship, the Susan Constant.<br />
“Wow,” Christina marveled. “It’s hard to<br />
imagine sailing across the enormous Atlantic<br />
Ocean in ships like these.”<br />
“It would have been a rough voyage,”<br />
Courtney agreed. “And taken some time.”<br />
“And they didn’t have GPS and all that other<br />
cool electronic gear boaters have now,” said Grant,<br />
who loved to boat with Papa on his little red and<br />
white boat also named the Mystery Girl.<br />
“Believe me, Dad says every step of the<br />
<strong>Jamestown</strong> saga was an adventure,” said Alex.<br />
