22 and a good time was had by all! Several hours later, Mimi, Papa, Christina, Grant, Amy, Courtney, Alex, and Joe sat on the deck of a waterside restaurant overlooking Jamestown. It was a celebration dinner! “I just want to thank you all for working so hard on my behalf,” Joe said. We just kept thinking we were so close to solving the mystery and saving Joe’s job and reputation, that we just kept going.” “I think it’s the bad guy who got caught!” said Grant happily. “He was one scary dude!” “Yeah,” Alex chimed in. “And to think he used to be one of my dad’s best workers. His name is Bill. He sure did try to trick us with all those red herring clues.” “I think he was just trying to be duplicitous,” said Mimi. 140
