A pumpkin is the must have accessory of the season! Pull on
your wellies and have an autumn adventure at a pumpkin patch.
There’s a chance to pick your own pumpkin, enjoy plenty of
family-friendly festivities and get ready for Halloween.
ESSEX
Cammas Hall, 6-31 October
Hatfield Broad Oak, near Bishop’s Stortford
There’s pumpkins galore! You can pick your own from the
field or from the ready picked patch. Stock up on sweet treats
and carving kits at the farm shop or enjoy a trip around the
Halloween themed Maize Maze. There’s also Halloween
colouring, crafts and face painting.

Foxes Farm Produce, open
throughout October

This farm has two locations, Colchester and Basildon, where
you can pick your pumpkin straight from the field. Don’t forget

Head down to the farm and pick your own juicy pumpkin from
the field. Plans for 2020 are still to be confirmed, however if
pumpkins are limited you can still enjoy a tasty lunch in the cafe

Marsh Farm, October half term

This year the festivities are going to be bigger than ever! The
family-friendly farm will be hosting a Halloween Festival where
children can take part in fun activities such as pumpkin carving,
the ‘Monster Mash’ disco and enjoy a visit to the ‘Boo Barn’,
among much more. This will take place in the ‘Pumpkin Village’;
an area full of pumpkins of all colours and sizes, a big top circus
tent for extra events and the new farm shop. There’s also a free
pumpkin for every child. It’s the ultimate Halloween day out for

Undley Pumpkin Patch & Maize Maze,
October weekends and half term

One of the biggest and most popular pumpkin patches in
the region, you’ll need to be quick to snap up the best. Grab
a wheelbarrow and pick directly from the field – there’s 20
varieties of pumpkin available! Follow a map into the maize
maze, climb haybales and bounce on inflatables. There’s plenty
of seasonal food too!
