I am so excited to be representing the Scandia Riders Saddle Club…..it seemed like it took
forever to find out the results!! But I sure am happy with them!
Well, at the last club meeting, Sarah Kilgriff, SRSC’s 2010 Queen, presented us with our new
Royalty Club jackets. They are so Cool! I wear mine whenever I can.
On April 28 th , Sarah and I went to the Rick-A-Shay Ranch to help out with the shots clinic. It
was our first chance to wear our hats with our crowns.
Next will be the 2010 Horse Expo, coming up April 23 rd -25 th . The Royalty will be
volunteering back at the children’s pony ride area and we sure hope you come and visit us there. It is
going to be so much fun, I can’t wait. Then starts all the competitions for this year and my salute
rides.
Whoo hoo! Giddy up! Jenni

paperwork to the show and we will keep it on file for you for the whole year. Alternatively you
can save time in advance by scanning and e-mailing a copy ahead of time to Bridget at
bridget@ourhobbyfarm.com or to Sarah at sarah.kilgriff@state.mn.us or bring a copy to a club
meeting. Planning ahead of time can help shows to run smoother!
Volunteer hours: We are asking that show volunteers sign up in advance for specific shifts to
help ensure that we have enough help. Remember, to be eligible for year end high point awards
each contestant over 18 needs to have 5 hours of documented volunteer time and each
contestant 13-17 needs 3 documented hours. Please help us to ensure that shows will be held
by signing up for a few hours. You can sign up at a club meeting, or by calling or e-mailing
Bridget or Sarah at the addresses above. Thank you for your help!

~ Meet Lois Greiman ~
A few years ago Colleen, the thimble-sized girl in the picture, decided it would be
fun to do the rescue race. So she and my son, Travis, began competing together. But
when Travis went off to college, Colleen was left without a partner so I took over
as the rescuer. And it is fun, though we find ourselves in the dirt a little more
often than we do racing across the finish line.
We are looking for used
trophies to recycle for our
closed shows. If you have
any bowling, horse, sport
type trophies we would like
to recycle and re-use.
Please contact Karen
Siebenaler
at 651-429-4508 or
rsiebenaler@cbburnet.com
We want to spotlight you!
Send a photo of you and your horse/s along
with some notes about what you love to do
with your horse to
bridget@ourhobbyfarm.com We will
highlight a new member each newsletter.
