Horse Soccer at the SRSC Arena!<br />

Details: Have you ever played soccer while riding your horse? It's a blast and is played<br />
with a giant ball. This summer, we will be having informal soccer games at the SRSC<br />
arena on certain Thursday nights. Unless someone is up on the rules, we will have to<br />
wing it and make them up as we go. Please show up if you're interested in playing. The<br />
fun starts at 6:00pm. The dates are always on Thursdays and include: June 21; June<br />
28; July 26; August 9; August 16; and August 23. More dates can be added if member<br />
interest supports it. Remember, events at the arena are limited to members only.<br />
Horsenality Seminar<br />

Details: This seminar is being presented by Bryna Helle, a certified 2-Star Parelli<br />
Instructor at Susan Smith’s house on Thursday, May 10th from 6 - 9 PM. The topic<br />
identifies different horsenalities and strategies to work with them. It is a horseless event.<br />
Class size is limited to 6 participants, room still available. Cost is $35. Pizza will be<br />
provided!<br />
Barefoot/Natural Hoof Care Clinic<br />

Date: Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 6:30 pm<br />
Details: Have you ever wondered about the difference between barefoot hoof care<br />
versus a traditional ferrier? Here is your opportunity to learn about it, along with hoof<br />
anatomy, hoof health, view sample x-rays, cadaver bones, and hoof capsules and view a<br />
trimming demonstration. Our speaker will be Kelly Williams, owner of Bare and Balanced<br />
Hooves. The clinic is free and will be held at Stephanie Schuster's House (13877 195th<br />
Street North; Marine on St. Croix). Call Terry Caflisch to reserve your spot.<br />
Western Dressage Clinic in River Falls, WI<br />

Dates: June 8-10, 2012<br />
Details: The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is offering a 3 day Western Dressage<br />
Clinic with Jack Brainard at the UW-River Falls Lab Farm. The clinic will be customized to<br />
the needs of the participating riders and will cover the basic essentials of western<br />
dressage and advanced horsemanship. This clinic is not appropriate for problem or<br />
unstarted horses. Registration is limited to 15 riders. Registration for all three days is<br />
$700. An auditor rate of $25 per day or $60 for all three days is also available. Stabling is<br />
available for an additional $15 per horse per night. Clinic hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<br />
with a lunch break from noon to 1:30 p.m. The UW-River Falls Lab Farm is located in<br />
River Falls, WI, about 30 miles east of the Twin Cities and about 10 miles south of I-94 at<br />
Hudson.<br />
Jerusha’s Extreme Cowboy Challenge<br />

Details: An extreme cowboy challenge course and training is available from Jerusha<br />
Steinert, a Certified Level 1 Extreme Cowboy Race judge and Top 10 Extreme Cowboy<br />
Race Finalist of the Professional Division 2010. Class Topics include a teeter bridge,<br />
cowboy curtain, backing through objects and much more. Costs vary from $15 to $40 per<br />
hour depending on the number of riders. Classes are held at Lakeview Farm; 17742<br />
