Alpaca Plaids
Alpaca wool is one of the best natural wool types in the world, it’s almost
comparable to cashmere wool. The fibres are incredibly so & super fine
(approx. 22-28 microns), therefore it itches much less on the bare skin in
comparison to some other wool types.

Due to the structure of the wool, it’s also stronger than most other wool types.
Besides that, Alpaca wool contains a large amount of small hollow spaces in its
fibres, making it very light and a great insulator. On top of all, the wool is
thermally warm. Meaning that the wool has a cooling effect during hot summer
days and it feels pleasantly warm during cold winter days.
Hypoallergenic
Alpaca wool is an ideal alternave for those who are sensive for sheep wool.
Since sheep's wool naturally contains an oil called lanolin. This is what allergic
people are sensive of. Alpaca's do not produce any lanolin! The fibres have a
unique construcon and a natural waterproofing. This means they don't need to
produce the oil at all!
Washing Instructions
Our recommendaon is to only wash the plaids by hand with a mild wool wash
detergent. Let the plaids dry in the air, preferable at room temperature and no
direct sunlight or other direct heat source.
AVAILABLE ALPACA PLAID COLOURS
It is possible to use a washing machine, use a wool wash program. However, we
do not recommend this. It is at your own risk and we do not provide any
warranty for this.
