The main Constraints in proper implementation of ASHA are following:
� Poor coordination between the MOIC and Mukhias on selection.
� Lack of interest in ASHA selection amongst PRIs members
� Due to excess load of work DPMU & BPMU personnel un -deliberately do not
focus on the ASHA programme. That’s why all the issues related to ASHA
such as selection, Training, Payment of incentives etc. are untouched.
To over come to this issue , There is a great need of a District Project Manager ( ASHA) , at
the district level and Block ASHA Manager at each and every block, Whose are respectively
responsible for all the works related to ASHA at the District level and the Block level.
Except that for helping ASHA in their work there should be a Help Desk at block level and
village level in each and every block and villages.
