NIGHT SKY<br />
<strong>Night</strong> <strong>Sky</strong> was a project that involved the<br />
construction of an award winning home<br />
theater. Electronics Design Group worked<br />
closely with the client to deliver a cinema that<br />
was perfectly suited to accommodate both<br />
family and friends who wish to watch a movie<br />
together under a ceiling that mimics the<br />
appearance of a starry night sky.<br />
The theater itself guarantees a luxurious<br />
viewing experience with a Stewart<br />
Filmscreen CineCurve multi-aspect ratio<br />
screen that spans 11’ wide when watching<br />
films in widescreen cinema format,<br />
and 8’ wide when viewing sports or TV<br />
programming in 16:9. Sony’s 4K Ultra HD<br />
VPL-VW600ES video projector was installed<br />
to produce a bright and vivid high resolution<br />
image, with four times the detail of Full<br />
HD for a true cinematic experience. With a<br />
picture that crisp, guests are sure to stare in<br />
awe at whatever they watch. The theater was<br />
designed to seat 10 people comfortably.<br />
The Dolby ATMOS 7.1.2 system transforms<br />
the room with sound from all directions,<br />
fully captivating the listener with clarity,<br />
details, power and depth. The Totem Tribe<br />
V loudspeakers and corresponding Totem<br />
Subwoofers and Surround channels moves<br />
the sound around the listeners in a threedimensional<br />
space, so you feel like you’re<br />
inside the action.<br />
On top of the theater’s impressive audio and<br />
video equipment, the room was given Lutron<br />
lighting and temperature controls connected<br />
with a Control4 C4-HC250 controller. With<br />
a convenient handheld remote control,<br />
the clients were able to adjust the room’s<br />
ambiance to just the way they want it.<br />
