The heater booster is an in-line multipass stainless steel flue gas heat 

exchanger which can raise efficiency on HP heaters to over 90%. This means

Heater Booster inline stainless-steel heat exchanger will recover 

heat that would be lost back into the workshop only £285.00 + VAT 

when ordered with a heater. The booster adds 270 m 2 per hour air 

flow from 80mm twin outlets (dimensions: H 61cm x W 37cm x D 

42cm and 8.7 kg weight). 

Here is your step by step guide for 

working out how much heat you need. 

A. Area to be heated, length.....feet, width.....feet, average height.....feet 

B. Multiply, length x width x average height = volume.....cubic feet 

C. Select the description which best suits the area to be heated from the table 

below and fill in the appropriate Btu/cu.ft figure here..... 

D. Multiply the volume from B.....Cubic feet by the figure from C.....Btu/cu.ft 

= Total heat required.....Btu/hour 

The amount of Btu/cu.ft required is dependent on the insulation of the building 

and the average ambient temperature prevailing in the area where the building 

is situated. A building with no insulation in the area that experiences extremely 

adverse weather conditions may require up to 9 Btu per cu.ft 

For general calculation we recommend 5 Btu per cu.ft.
