AWARDS
Sponsored by:
The Construction Computing awards
or "The Hammers" as they are
affectionately known are back for
2020 in the fifteenth running of this
annual event. Once again, we are
looking to showcase and reward the
technology, tools and solutions for the
effective design, construction,
maintenance and modification of
commercial buildings, residential and
social housing and civil engineering
projects of all sizes.
From Brexit to Flooding to Covid-19.
This has certainly been one of the most
challenging years in the industry. One
thing has certainly stood out, though,
and that is the recognition that the
construction industry is one of the most
critical sectors in the country, and whilst
some projects were temporarily put on
hold, many remained in progress –
mainly infrastructure projects – and
building workers were amongst the first
groups to stream back to work.
The key factors in getting through this
period, though, are the efforts of
suppliers and software developers to the
industry, and the provisions they have
made to help their clients and customers
who are having to adopt these new ways
of working. With the Hammers Awards
we have the opportunity to think anew
about the players in the industry who you
think have supported or assisted you
most and who have upheld the traditions
of the industry throughout the last year.
Building on the success of previous
years, we will again be inviting project
applications to be considered by a panel
of Judges. Of course, many categories
will still be decided by the most
important people of all, you, the readers
of Construction Computing Magazine
and the clients of the companies
competing for the top honours.
Featuring 30 categories the
Construction Computing Awards allow
companies from every sector of the
industry to seek recognition for their
efforts over the past 12 months. You now
have until 11th September to make you
