Unequal task
BARKING Rugby Club have a
mountain to climb this weekend, facing
their toughest test yet in a hugely
difficult season.
They host a Henley Hawks side
who are threatening to run away with
National League Two South.
home loss to Dings Crusaders left them
games, with maximum bonus points.
Their 100 per cent record – the division’s
last – gave them a four-point lead
over Hartpury College.
They have already topped 300 points
and scored 45 tries. And they have
broken the 50-point barrier in a match
three times.
If the Henley game looks like an
away banker, at least Barking will travel
to Southend on 3 November with more
hope of a win.
The Essex side are also struggling
near the foot of the table, and lost five of
