Dick White, the former Scunthorpe
during the close season.
Tonight's match, regarded
by the Doncaster players and
officials as their most difficult
task of the season so far, has
created tremendous enthusiasm
in Doncaster, where
travelling support is unusual.
For the first time in six
years, British Railways have
put on a special for the match.
In addition, coach proprietors
report fairly heavy bookings,
all of which gives indication
that a large crowd will travel
from Doncaster to see the
game.
