Upto Specs Willa 17W has toured

Canada and left her mark, with

26 progeny under 7 prefixes. INC

Cattle Co. acquired Willa in 2017.

“At INC, it has always been our focus to

breed high-capacity, power-built females

without ever sacrificing traits such as

maternal predisposition, temperament,

structural soundness, or longevity,” says

Rob Harasymchuk. “Upto Specs Willa

17W hits all these marks, with a hammer.

It is our belief that providing this type

and kind of female to both commercial

and purebred breeders alike is essential

to the sustainability of Speckle Park as

a whole.” Already, her offspring have

marked her place in history. Son

INC Six Gun 428F was the 2018

Manitoba AgEx Grand Champion

Bull at his first show out, and a

month later took home the National

Reserve Bull Calf Champion banner

and sold half interest and full

possession in the 2018 Canadian

National Sale for $20,000.

River Hill Show Me Off 60S has been

a cornerstone in the River Hill Farm

herd, and impacted many others,

producing several of the breed’s

most recognizable names. Her son,

River Hill 26T Walker 60W, is the

only Speckle Park to make top ten

in the RBC Supreme Challenge at

Canadian Western Agribition, and

himself is one of the top five sires of

the 2010s. She also produced River

Hill 50U All In 60A, a champion

himself who is siring progeny that

are collecting banners and topping

sales; River Hill 50T Shomi-Off 60F

and River Hill 68L Show Me Off

94F, two upcoming donor females,

and most recently, one of the highselling

heifers in the 2019 Canadian

National Sale. “Show Me Off 60S has

been proven to add power, structure,

udder, and maternal traits mated to any

sire,” says Cory Ducherer, River Hill

Farm. “She is a guaranteed hit with

every calf that has ever hit the ground!”

The Star Bank Theta 42T cow family

is known for their correct feet and

legs, depth of rib, and dimension.

Though Theta gained fame as the

2013 Canadian National Grand

Champion Female, her story began

much earlier. “Back in 2007, she stood

out to me in a pen of heifers,” says Jason

Goodfellow, Notta Ranch. “I knew her

sire, Spots ‘N Sprouts Nefrom 101N, who

had produced some stand-out cattle in the

short time Star Bank used him. Once we

knew the milking power of Star Bank

Theta 42T, she was put to work in the

donor pen. Perhaps the best combination

to date is a Notta 1B Hawkeye 444E son

that was on display at the 2020 National

Western Stock Show, Notta 444E Armani

555G,” Goodfellow continues. “Her

legacy will live on through her progeny that

have been purchased by several influential

breeders worldwide.”
