media, are considered a social network which is virtually the only factor
prompting the government’s willingness to change public policy at a
certain satisfactory level.
Evaluation of government performance may be divided into 4 parts:
1. The government, who must check itself; 2. Private businesses who
must perform various legal activities with the government; 3. Social
sectors or civil society/NGOs who can broadly exercise statutory rights in
performing the evaluation of the government and 4. The media who
must always monitor and sniff for the unwanted odors of corruption to
make public so society will have awareness and opposition to these
people, so corrupt government officials will be ashamed a they consider
themselves and eventually leave the government system.
“Policy Advocacy” and “evaluating government performance” by
both “NGOs” and “civil society” must be conducted with scientific and
social knowledge and with a positive goal toward every group of people
and with sufficient supporting academic data for the government’s
decision making.
If we can act as stated herein, Thai people, Thai society and
Thailand will be able to reduce resources and budget spending to a great
extent and the live of Thai people will be improved as never before in the
history of our country.
