Just 90 minutes form Kuala Lumpur, a trip to Kuala Gandah<br />
Elephant Sanctuary is worth your while. You get the unique<br />
experience of spending the day with these magnifi cent<br />
pachyderms – often orphaned or rescued wild elephants. Entry<br />
is free, but donations are encouraged and will go directly to<br />
the upkeep of its jumbo residents. The sanctuary’s activities<br />
start at 2pm, but arrive early to get limited tickets that would<br />
allow you to ride and bathe with the elephants in the nearby<br />
river. Remember to bring a change of clothing, as these<br />
elephants like to have a splashing good time!<br />
