Round & About AssociAtion & trAde Bodies GJEPC contributes Rs 20 lacs to UP Govt GJEPC had allocated a fund of Rs.51 crore to fight against Covid-19 and help the disadvantaged workers of the industry. In their continuous endeavour to support the fight against Covid-19, GJEPC contributed a sum of INR 20 lakhs to the Uttar Pradesh Government, which will be used in the CSR activities by the state government. GJEPC has also donated INR 21 crore to the PM Cares Fund, to support the country’s challenge against the pandemic. GJEPC is helping daily wage workers of the industry by transferring Rs.1,500 in the form of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into their individual bank accounts. Shri Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman - North, GJEPC, on behalf of the Council members, met Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, and contributed Rs. 20 lakh to augment the financial resources of the State Government for the welfare of its people. Colin Shah, Chairman Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman GJePc elects new chairman and vice chairman Gem Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has appointed Colin Shah as the new chairman for the next two years from 2019 to 2021. Shah will take over from the outgoing chairman Pramod Kumar Agrawal. Vipul Shah will be the Vice Chairman (uncontested). The other key appointments include: Regional Chairman – Northern region, Ashok Seth; Eastern region, Prakash Chandra Pincha; Southern region, Mahender Tayal; Western region, Ashokbhai Gajera; Gujarat region, Dineshbai Navadiya and Rajasthan region, Nirmal Kumar Bardiya.
