The project is based in the year 2050 which is imagined as a time where public transport becomes
the main mode of movement in the city with movement of people restricted at city level and a
significant decrease in number of people travelling outside of the city. To support this lifestyle
largely self-sustaining communities will house large numbers of people within a single complex
having multiple functions with residents spending most of their time within the complex. The aim is
to provide middle income citizens with affordable housing of a middle category between high end
and low end developments.
