FINAL PROJECT PLACED ON SITEFINAL PROJECTThe brief was to design a centre for DoCoMoMoInternational (International Committee forDocumentation and Conservation of buildings, sitesand neighbourhoods of the Modern Movement).The trigger behind the design was a quote by an architectwhose work was supposed to be the inspiration behindthe spaces in the institution. The quote chosen was ‘TheNature of Space reflects what it wants to be’ by LouisKahn. The design intention throughout the process wasto create spaces that are directional and have the powerto guide the people that inhabit them. The centre ismeant to promote awareness about modern buildingsby conducting workshops, lectures and exhibitionsfocusing on them, for people of all ages.
