Cameron AFC

Following an early-year muster it was discovered that there were not enough players to justify entering an additional team in the

Waikato Competition. This resulted in a number of players withdrawing their membership from Ngaruawahia United and being integral in the

formation of the Taupiri Tornadoes club based in Taupiri. The new Club entered the Waikato B Division (the club later changed their name to

Cameron).

The members of the new neighbouring club were Kerry Barakat (Captain), Jordan Barakat, David Bell, Martin Bell, Alistair Bell,

Andrew Bell, Taffy Tengu, Phillip Van Houtte, Barry White, David White, Mark Snowden, Kerry Whare, Bernie, Harry, Philip Bell, Campbell

Haggie and Richard Anderson.

Their team colours were Purple & Black (Home), and Blue & Black (Away).
