Matt Kellet-Smith played for the Knaphill Football Club in
England before taking up the recommendation of his club coach Phil
Ruggles (right) who suggested he try out the country club of Ngaruawahia
in far-away New Zealand, where Phil was player/coach in 2011.
Phil Ruggles’ (right) coaching took the Ngaruawahia team that
year from Northern League Division 2 to Northern League Division 1.
