Waikato A Division - Reserves 2006

2006

JASON HUSSEY

When not working 100 hours a

week this right back manages to

squeeze in football now and again.

This season Hussey has been a

phone-a-friend-bring-a-friend player, It

has been discovered that his best

position is not goalkeeper!

JARED WILLIAMS

(“J”, Son of Maxine)

Our Centre/Quarter back took

on role of Captain, Coach and Manager

(as well as Camp Mother) with great

aplomb.

He has been one of the most

consistent performers this season (good

-bad-otherwise). Still has a penchant to

moan at Ryan and not turn up on time

for bus trips.

PAUL DUDUNSKI

Our most consistent keeper (of

the magnificent 7 keepers we have had)

and ever reliable when called upon.

Paul is slowly growing in stature as a

keeper.

His performance against

Matamata in the first round was his

best since joining the Ressies.

He still uses a silencer on his

mouth!

JON THOMPSON (Thomo)

When not travelling the world

in his Lear Jet, Thomo has had an

indifferent season (due to too many

holidays), Still slightly shell-shocked

from not being in the 1st Team it has

taken our defender some time to

become adjusted on and off the field.

Fortunately, age is still on his side.

HAYDEN CARGO (Clutch)

Our second most reliable

keeper and son of the legendary Jason

Cargo. As tall as the Empire State

Building, Hayden is showing promise for

all the clubs he has been involved with

this year. His best performance was

arriving from one game just in time for

another!

JOSH EICHMAN

Josh promised so much, got a

hiccup (injury) then disappeared, never

to be found. Played his best in friendly

matches and wanted columns in the

newspaper.

ANDREW SMITH (Andy, Abbo)

Played at right back and could

have been the find of the year. Andrew

has shown excellent form in this

position (which he has made his own).

Hw could be in for a Dally-M Award.

Currently holds the record for the most

foul throws in one game. Player of the

Year.

RYAN KERR-BELL (Ry, Kerby)

This centre-back has not had

his most consistent year. He began

showing his old form in the latter part

of the season and played his best games

when he was injured and not listening

to Jared. He still has the biggest youth

fan-base in the Club. Sportsman of the

Year.
